Behavioral Models. Almost everybody has heard of them by now. You know, you take a quick test and score it and we've got you all figured out. Don't tell us you are not like that. We KNOW you ARE. The test says so.

Many of us have attended a seminar and been given a behavioral test. We respond to the questions, and the instructor takes twenty minutes to let us know we are all different (Really? I thought we were exactly alike). After the quick revelation that we are all different, the instructor proceeds, EVENTUALLY, to the real content of the seminar. The behavioral model was the "ice breaker."

Leadership Development, Employee Retention, Improved Understanding

The DISC model, one of the best management and performance enhancement tools from TTI, is distributed by The Vantage Group and is a model far beyond any others. You can:

  • Reduce tension

  • Increase job satisfaction

  • Improve understanding and relationships

  • Target the right employees for leadership development and employee retention, and

  • Increase motivation, productivity, and sales

You can do all of the above just by understanding and applying the Advanced DISC Model from TTI. What formerly was an ice breaker for seminars has now become the foundation for all training—an understanding of people.

Paradigms are being shattered daily as companies realize the importance of harnessing their "people power."

The TTI DISC model assists in job selection for leadership development, counseling, conflict resolution, team development, stress management and employee retention or turnover reduction.

You can have access to the most powerful behavioral model in the world.

DISC from TTI is the most understandable and applicable behavioral assessment tool in the world. You will learn it…understand it…and have the ability to advance it into areas throughout your organization.

Many behavior models label people and cause people to walk away feeling badly. Many add value judgments that are unsubstantiated. Some models score men and women differently.

The DISC Model from TTI allows people to positively understand themselves, launch out and win. Everyone has the potential to be a winner

DISC Is A Neutral Assessment Tool.

There are 3 things to consider when using the DISC assessment tool for your organization:

1. Every interaction must be a Win/Win for all involved.
Although the model can be used to manipulate, it is intended to be a tool to foster better relationships.

2. People are not to be labeled or "pigeon-holed."
Any person can adapt to any behavioral style, sometimes for very long periods of time. To suggest a person is incapable because of their behavioral style is NOT correct.

3. Work, in your training, to develop winners.
Praise in public, rebuke in private. Strive to have each person have a positive self-image and a new appreciation for others.

Finally, many behavioral models teach that, to be a leader, you must have a certain profile, behaviorally. NOT TRUE! Great leaders in history have had all sorts of combinations of the four factors (DISC). The ingredients of the successful leader -- found in individuals that are excellent candidates for leadership development or most desirable for employee retention --  include value issues such as integrity, truth and vision. You'll find these ingredients in the right individuals using DISC management and performance improvement tools.
